Promatic products are renowned worldwide for quality, durability and reliability. That’s why we are the first choice for trap supplies when it comes to clay pigeon shooting. For more than 25 years we provided shooting equipment for International competitions on 5 continents for every single shooting discipline: Sporting, Olympic Trap, Universal Trench, FITASC, Skeet, etc. with an excellent zero “no-bird” track record. Our machines perform outstandingly in the roughest weather conditions you can imagine – from the -30°C winters of Moscow through to the heat of 40°C Arizona summer, and everything in between.

The UK manufacturing plant is based in the heart of the aerospace and automotive region – their zero defect engineering disciplines and exacting component quality standards are incorporated into everything we do. Take our throwing arms – while most other manufacturers use standard-grade aluminium, which tends to warp under continued use, we utilise a specialist aerospace grade alloy, which can withstand the enormous pressures unleashed by our springs.

Technologies

12 VOLT

All of our traps can run from a standard 12V battery, so no messy wiring and total portability. You can attach one of our Solar Cells to maintain a charge for days on end or if you want, we can provide you with a transformer to link up to your main power supply. Each trap uses low power draw technology, so you get several thousand clay launches from a fully charged battery.

MIDI

Many of our Sporting traps can throw standard or midi clays by simply changing over the Carousel. The Super Hawk is even simpler, because our innovative design means you can quickly adjust the clay magazine so that in less than 5 minutes you are shooting midis.

RUST RESISTANCE

As our manufacturing plant and design team are based in the UK, we know a thing or two about the harshest weather. Our approach to Rust Proofing is to treat each individual component separately using stainless steel, alloys, polyester coating, zinc plating or gold passivating. In this way, each machine has total protection which, we’re sure you will agree, beats simply fitting a Stainless Steel drop plate.

KNIFE EDGE

Often imitated but never matched, our Dual Knife Edge System leads the market. Some other machines use single blades or have knives which chip or scrape the clay leading to no-birds and dust building up on the machine. Using hardened machined blades which can be precision-adjusted to match any clay, our unique system lifts and separates the clays. It works every time regardless of rain, heat or frost.
